whenever im home, i spend a vast amount of time chillin in the kitchen with my mother while flicking through channels 350-365 on sky…there are so many music channels in england its ridiculous! so while im here now ive gotten all caught up on the commercial pop music that is repeatedly played on these channels all day. my current fave manufactured pop song is “all night long” by x factor winner alexandra burke, ft everyones favourite rights activist pitbull (if you dont know what im talkin bout read up on the arizona laws!). at first glance, you might be thinking, shit…not a lionel richie cover! i know i did. fret not, alexandra has stopped slaughtering classics after she messed with leonard cohens hallelujah and caused jeff buckley to turn in his grave. this track is an uptempo summer smash, and given that its been stuck in my head for days now i have a feeling itll be making an appearance on my ipods summer playlist. check out all night long below. p.s….alexandra…youre losing points for your wannabe gaga outfit in the video…sorry girl!:
